Huelva (Spain)
La Fuente Vieja is an underground basin of 2,50 x 1,80 x 2,40 m and gave access to the infiltration gallery of which recently 140 m is excavated. On the photo one of the walls of the basin with a layer of calcareous concretion and two small grooves of unknown length. The basin acted as settling tank, work space and ventilation shaft. [A.
