Acre / Akko (19th c)
Imagine the water basin on top of this suterazi tower. Its name - El A'uoji or El Auja - was
derived from the bend which directs the aqueduct towards the south-west. Note the exit (middle
left) for local water use: irrigation and/or consumption.
