Spolia and
Roman foundations

The Roman venter bridges of the aqueduct of Aspendos carried some 3400 perforated blocks of
little less that 1 cubic meter. Quite a few got a second life as so-called spolia and now part
of the Seljuk bridge, 5 km south from Aspendos.
