Mill-race

View into the mill-race fed by the Late Roman aqueduct in the Agora of Athens. From here the
water was conveyed in a northwestern direction in a channel at first underground and then
supported on arches to supply another mill which was totally destroyed by the construction of
the railway in 1891.
