'Modern' Regulation facility

Some years ago an extra channel was constructed for educational purposes. The water was used to drive a new built water mill. On the photograph the regulation basin with groves to control the discharge of surplus water; the same set up was used in Roman times (near Uzès in the Nîmes aqueduct and 200 m east of the present location in the Fréjus aqueduct)
