The double bridge

East side of the Esquine bridge looking north. This is a double bridge, but the southern bridge has partly collapsed, showing the internal structure. The collapsed bridge was the oldest as can be seen from the absence of facing on the northern bridge; facing stone was not needed, since the new bridge was built against the outer wall of an existing bridge.
