Gortyn(a) (Greece / Crete)
About 500 m north of the acropolis of Gortyn (Crete) the lower aqueduct had a branch off to the opposite site of the gorge by means of a siphon. Direct N of the acropolis both the high and the low aqueducts join the same bridge on different levels to cross a side gorge, as stated by Taramelli (1902)
