View into the channel

Overview of one of the many channels, built by the Romans. Within the major channel
- in total 2,25 m high and 0,60 m wide - a much smaller conduit was built (bottom) transporting the water. On regular intervals
reinforcing struts were placed. Pointing mortar seems missing.
