Air view of Solomon's Pools

The three Solomon's Pools SW of Bethlehem, seen from the west. The name
is wrongly derived from king Solomon's words (Ecclesiastes 2 verse 6):
"I made myself pools from which to water the forest of growing trees".
At present east of Qalaat Burak (middle left) from 1620, a new conference
center was built.
