Excavation area

The Roman city of Los Banales should have occupied more than twenty hectares of land bounded
to the north by a monumental residential space, to the south by a hill, to the East by Puy Foradado
and the high channel of a Roman aqueduct, and to the West by a necropolis at the foot of the
El Pueyo hill.
