Baths building

The hydraulic system of the city was composed of the aqueduct carrying water to the city, public
fountains and at least one baths establishment built at the end of the 1st century CE, city. Such
baths were always very water consuming installations. This baths occupied an area of approximately
530 m2 and is still the most representative building of the archaeological site of Los Banales.
The building had various rooms: a lobby, a small waiting room, the apodyterium or changing room
, the frigidarium or cold room, the tepidarium or warm room, caldarium or hot room, and the area
of ovens and services.
