Isolated supports

What makes Los Banales aqueduct so special is this stretch, built on high, isolated supports and
not on a system of arcuatio (arches). The preserved remains correspond to a total of 32 pillars,
which consist of a variable number of blocks of sandstone also with variable dimensions but
decreasing in most cases according to their rising position in the pillars.
