The aqueduct water from Gorze poured out via channel A into basin B; the main flow
found its way via the twin channels C on the aqueduct bridge towards the collecting
basin in Jouy-aux-Arches and beyond. At F there is a mechanism with grooves and planks
(a sluice, better called a weir) to regulate surplus water to be diverted via D towards the
