One can assume that the stone pipes found scattered at the foot of the castle of the Kastro and near the route
of the ancient Flerio aqueduct, belong to the original phase of this work (late 6th c BCE) which consisted of a pipeline.
It may have supplied the cistern(s) in the Kastro hill with water.
