Cistern on the hill

The cistern (rain water storage basin) on top of the Kursunlutepe with an average diameter of 11m and a rise of about 8m,
had a maximum capacity of about 650 m3. In the middle is a column of about 10m high in 19 courses.
Even after detailed research in the summer of 2014 it is still an enigma from where the water should have come to fill this
basin with its watertight plaster. Note the flight of stairs to enter the basin.
