Aniene dam

Almost right under the present monastery of San Cosimato, east of Vicovaro a modern dam was
built in the Anio (present Aniene) gorge blocking the channels of a few Roman
aqueducts among that of the Aqua Claudia. View upstream from the Claudia channel.
