Aqua Alexandrina

The Aqua Alexandrina was constructed by Alexander Severus; its source was in the lands of Tusculum, about fourteen miles from Rome, between Gabii and the Lake Regillus. Its small height shows that it was intended for the baths of Severus, which were in one of the valleys of Rome (Lamprid. Alex. Sev. 25; Fabretti, Diss. i. 23).
