Acqua Paola remains

The first visible remains of the Aqua Traiana in the vicinity of the city of Rome, near the petrol
station where the Via del Casale di S. Pio V joins with the Via Aurelia Antica. Actually, these are the
remains of the Acqua Paola (early 17th c, still functioning) superimposed on the substructures of the
Aqua Traiana.
