NW of the Porta Maggiore the channels of the Claudia and Anio Novus (DVCTVS CLAVDIAE ET ANIONIS
[NOVI]) and its terminal castellum.
E of it the channels of the Marcia, Tepula and Julia (DVCTVS MARCIAE TEPVLAE IVLIAE) are presented
towards Porta San Lorenzo (= Porta Tiburtina).
NW of the train station (Stazione Centrale) remains of the DVCTVS ANIONIS VETERIS and the Porta
Viminalis are indicated.
Note the DVCTVS IVLIAE towards the Trofei at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele (which could have been a
branch of the Aqua Anio Novus)
