Map of Tiermes

The aqueduct should have entered Tiermes from the SW (bottom left) and split into two branches,
see the word CASTELLUM near the Puerta del Oeste. The northern part headed NE and came to
an end west of the Foro Flavio (Flavian Forum). The other branch (Sur) went eastwards to the
Casa del Acueducto (and beyond, probably to the Termas del Sur (Southern baths). Tiermes'
industrial quarter was NW of the city.
