Toledo (Spain)
The trace of the aqueduct of Toledo (to the left = north). At the right side (south) a dam was built over the river Guajaraz (see Presa del Guajaraz), the start of the aqueduct which entered the city of Toledo from the east. Torres acuarias are water towers to let the aqueduct water lose height, like the ‘Horno del Vidrio’, see main text
