Tongeren (Belgium)

Atuatuca Tongrorum
For the photo's, see below

Tongeren seems to have had an aqueduct, but only the last few kilometres of this aqueduct are known, since it rested on a massive earthen dam / dike, locally known as the Beukenberg. The original and further course of the aqueduct remain unknown, although recent field research shed some light on the matter.
