Tongeren seems to have had an aqueduct, but only the last few kilometres of this aqueduct are known, since it rested on a massive earthen dam / dike, locally known as the Beukenberg. The original and further course of the aqueduct remain unknown, although recent field research shed some light on the matter.

| How to visit : | Take the Sint Truidersteenweg from the city center to the west; after 500m at your right hand turn into the Legioenslaan. The dike of the aqueduct is at your left hand. |
