Characteristic shape

The total length of this Roman aqueduct tunnel near Ucero is 133 meter. The characteristic shape
of the section is due to further widening the foot of the tunnel on a later (Roman?) date, in order
to get more water and possibly to reduce the water level, allowing passage for cleaning.
